On September 4, 2016 Kim and Jason made a vow to spend the rest of their lives together. The couple got married in Falmouth, Massachusetts on a small beach outside of Casino Wharf FX. This couple is very dear to my heart and it meant so much to me that they chose me as their photographer for their big day. I’ve known Kim for a while now and I’d like to call this fate. When Jason asked Kimberly to marry him, I happened to capture the moment with my camera (I never leave home without it). Several weeks later, I asked them if I could photograph their engagement session. One year later, we are walking the beach trying to get the shot for their wedding gallery.
The couple rented a home for the weekend for their family and close friends to stay in and get ready for the big day. Before leaving for the ceremony, Kim and Jason exchanged cards to express how they felt for each other. It was a touching moment to see Kimberly read her card out loud to her bridesmaids and mother. There wasn’t a dry face in the room.
Kimberly decided to opt out of a traditional first look with Jason and instead do the first look with her father. Truth be told, the father daughter first look will always have me in tears and this was no exception.
The ceremony was intimate, the two said their vows surrounded by close friends and family.
Congratulations once again to Jason and Kim. Your wedding was definitely one to remember!
