I’m not sure how long I can honestly continue the weekend recaps. It is not that I don’t love sharing with you what I’m doing with my life, it’s just that I consider myself pretty low key...and boring. This past weekend was no different. Saturday was spent running errands then binge watching Grey’s Anatomy, I’m happy to announce that I’ve reached season 8!
Sunday on the other hand was so much more productive. I spent half the day location scouting! Location scouting is so important to a photographer especially one that primarily shoots outdoors. I wanted to find cool new locations OUTSIDE of the Boston area. Locations like Acorn street, Boston common and the seaport can be seen in most engagement pictures. I admit that I am guilty of this as well. From now on, I strive to be a little different so it was important that I find locations that are outside of Boston and speak to my style of photography. I took along my sister to be my model and it was great. She is such a natural in front of the camera! These locations included Wollaston Beach in Quincy, The Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain and the Boston College campus in Newton.
What do you think of this portrait session? Do you have any parks or other locations in mind to recommend?
