If you've been following me for a while then you know that I only photograph weddings and boudoir. That is what makes me happy but very rarely I get asked to do a family session and believe it or not I don't like to say no sometimes.
I treat my life self-portraits like I do my engagement shoots and weddings; I love to capture candid moments between couples and families. Here's a portrait session that I did a while back and this is the way I would typically shoot a family session. I stick to this style because it's natural. I like to capture people in their element while they're having fun or rather feeling an emotion. I'm not saying that I don't like posed photographs at all but candids most of the times are the way that I choose to go. What do you think about this at home family session? I honestly love this family and it was great capturing this moment for them.
