On August 13, 2016, I had the honor of photographing Emily and Sesugh’s wedding at the Fitchburg Art Museum in Fitchburg, MA. During our initial consultation I had asked Emily where she planned on tying the knot. When she said the Fitchburg Art Museum, I started jumping for joy...literally. I love art museums and they’ve always been one of my favorite places to photograph so imagine how excited I was when August finally arrived.
The day was beautiful! Though the couple wanted some formal shots with family members, their main focus was for me to capture candid moments of their friends and family having fun. There were so many unique elements to the day. Emily designed her own dress and danced down the aisle with her father (forget the traditional walk!). Friends and family looked on as the couple said their vows.
The reception was one of the best parts of the day. Normally it takes people time to warm up to the dance floor but not their family! There wasn’t a single shy person in the room, everyone was out on the dance floor having a great time. Congratulations Emily and Sesugh, your wedding at the Fitchburg Art museum is one that I will never forget! Cheers to a long and happy life together.
