In September I was chosen by Katie Noble to second shoot Emily and Nick's wedding in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. I spent the morning photgraphing Nick and his groomsmen while they got ready at the Springfield Marriott. The couple tied the knot at the beautiful St. Mary's Parish in Longmeadow, Massachusetts then headed off to Longmeadow country club for dinner cocktail hour and a ton of dancing. Thank you Katie for allowing me to be part of this day! Here are some of my favorite moments of Emily and Nick's wedding day.
Getting ready at the Marriott Springield was very low key. Nick and his two groomsmen and father got dressed while watching football. They finished early, leaving plenty of time to head down to the bar to grab pre-wedding drinks (yes, that's a thing).
Emily was nervous before walking down the aisle. She was surrounded by her parents and siblings who did a wonderful job calming her nerves. The walk down the grand aisle at Saint Mary's Parish is beautiful. Over 100 guests attended the couples wedding and witnessed the two say 'I do.'
After the church ceremony, everyone drove to the Longmeadow Country Club for cocktail hour. Following the cocktail hour, everyone took their place in the dining room where the guests enjoyed a delicious meal. During this time, Emily and Nick's closest friends gave heartwarming speeches. Truth be told, the father daughter dance will always be my favorite part of a wedding night. This night was no exception.
Thank you again to Katie Noble for allowing me to photograph this day. It was a true honor!
